SWE & Quant Recruiting

Recruiting is a game.
Learn to play it well.

Landing a top software engineering or quantitative finance role isn't just about being smart — it's about resumes that pass the six-second screen, interviews rehearsed until they're second nature, and a strategy that puts you in the right pipelines at the right time. I coach college students through all of it.

Why listen to me?

I've run this gauntlet — recently, and repeatedly

I'm a senior at Northwestern triple-majoring in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Music. Over my own recruiting cycles I interned at LinkedIn as a machine learning engineer and IMC Trading as a quantitative trader, with an incoming machine learning engineering internship at Tesla — and earned offers from top firms across both tech and quant finance.

My philosophy

The first step is the hardest part

The hardest people to help in recruiting are the ones without previous experience — and that's a problem most people well into the industry don't really understand. Once you have one internship or one strong project on your resume, everything that follows gets dramatically easier. Getting that first line is the real challenge.

That's why so much of my work focuses on it: tailoring a resume when there isn't much to put on it yet, and planning technical projects that actually market you. We start from what you like, what you're interested in, and what you're good at, and design who you want to present yourself as — then build the resume and the projects to back it up.

From there, I help with everything around the process: a recruiting timeline that starts early enough to matter, an interview tracker so nothing slips, and strategy at every stage until the offer is signed.

Services

Everything between you and the offer letter

Resume Review

Line-by-line feedback and rewrites tuned to what SWE and quant screeners actually look for — impact-driven bullets, the right projects front and center, and a format that survives both the six-second human skim and the resume parser.

Mock Interviews

Realistic practice for coding and algorithms, machine learning, and quant-style probability and mental math — followed by honest, detailed debriefs on both your solutions and how you communicated them.

Behavioral & Story Prep

Your "tell me about yourself," project deep-dives, and behavioral answers — refined until they're compelling and genuinely yours. The same storytelling instincts I bring to college essays, aimed at interviewers instead of admissions readers.

Recruiting Strategy

Timelines that start early enough to matter, target lists across tech and quant, networking and referrals that actually get responses, and guidance on navigating deadlines and decisions once offers arrive.
